Why Give to Church Planting?
“Consider that just two centuries ago, only 3 percent of the world's population lived in cities. At the dawn of the 20th century, it was just 14 percent. Today, it’s exploded to more than half the world’s population. And by the year 2030, more than five billion people (six out of every ten human beings) will live in cities and urban centers.” —Richard Florida—Urban Studies Theorist
We want to plant churches in these cities to reach the new generation, the new immigrants, those living in poverty, and those who are shaping the future of our increasingly global culture. We also want to plant Gospel-centered churches locally in order to restore and renew our communities.
- Pledge and give by investing in our global and local church plants above and beyond your giving to FPCNPB’S General Fund. If you want to give to global church plants, designate your gift to "global missions." If you want to give to church planting locally, designate your gift to "local church planting."
- Consider a multi-year commitment
