Music Ministries

FPC has opportunities for children, teens and adults to use their God-given musical abilities.

NOTE: Registration for 2023 Summer Music Camp & Conservatory is open!


ADULTS


Adults can choose from being part of one of our choirs for the traditional services or on a worship team as part of the modern service.

Sanctuary Choir - Our Sanctuary Choir leads our musical worship for our 9:30am service and is open to anyone who enjoys singing. The Sanctuary Choir sings for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month.  Our repertoire is on an upper high school choir level. Practice is held on Thursday evenings, from 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the Chapel. The conductor of this choir is our Director of Music Ministries, Jay Arnn ( )

Chamber ChoirOur Chamber Choir is select ensemble, that is made up of members of the Sanctuary Choir. The Chamber Choir will do similar music to our Sanctuary Choir, but also sings more a capella music and music in foreign languages. The Chamber Choir sings for the 9:30am service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.  Their repertoire is on an early collegiate level. Practice is held on Thursday evenings, from 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the Chapel. The conductor of this choir is our Director of Music Ministries, Jay Arnn ( )

Instrumental Music - From time to time, we will assemble instrumental ensembles to participate in our worship services.  If you are an instrumentalist (band, orchestral, pop) and would like to be notified and included in one of these services, please contact our Director of Music Ministries, Jay Arnn at  .


TEENS

SUMMER MUSIC CAMP & CONSERVATORY


The First Presbyterian Church Summer Music Camp and Conservatory will be held daily, July 17 - 21, 2023, from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Final Concert is Friday, July 21 at 6:30pm (concert participation is mandatory for all campers and volunteers.) Space is limited and fills up quickly. Registration is based on a first-come, first serve basis. Special placement requests are not available.

Elementary Division 

For students who have completed the 1st through 3rd grades. The cost per student is $125.

For students who have completed the 4th through 6th grades. The cost per student is $125.

Conservatory 

For students who have completed the 7th through 10th grades as well advanced 6th grade students (with additional recommendation letter.)  The cost per student is $150.

Volunteers 

For students who have completed 11th or 12 grade as well as college students and adults. The cost per high school volunteer is $40. No fee for college students or adults.
